HIGHLY REC’D – THE MONTHLY MIXTAPE
Because good music is a right, not a privilege.
By: Jon Wolf
Hi Everyone! We did it again! I’m so proud of all of you!
One more year down, and I just wanted to thank everyone who contribut’d and rec’d and bitch’d and made this possible every month, even when I was on the brink of skipping the whole thing I would get a little gift in my in-box that changed everything.
You may hear from me one more time this year, but next year we will be going on baby hiatus and the format may change to a smaller/whenever format, but still containing the same amount of awesome. And there is already a shit ton of new music to be excited about next year. So thanks again, don’t stop believin’, and enjoy.

New Feature: Mariachi El Rec’d
I was just saying how I wished more punk bands would do traditional mariachi side projects, and thankfully the band The Bronx has come through on their new album as Mariachi El Bronx. I haven’t found much to be excited about in their punk(?) music, but they def found a refreshing niche sound that no one else is doing right now (outside of actual mariachi bands, of course). Thanks for the head’s up SK!
