New Feature: Graham Smith Is The Coolest Person Alive
That is an actual album title from Kleenex Girl Wonder impresario Graham Smith, and well deserved. Graham Smith is the best type of artist, he is ridiculously prolific, he has been producing crazy catchy pop songs with clever lyrics and song structures since the early 90′s, and is going to make music whether you know about it or not.
He is also running the best independent artist website I have seen, it’s a model for how an indie artist should market and sell their music, it’s easy to navigate, listen, and purchase his entire discography at super low prices, or even name your own price, for albums with 20-plus songs.
This is someone you should know. Two of his newer songs are in the May mix, and I’ve cherry-picked three classics below, but that is by no means everything you need to know about KGW, otherwise you will never get to hear the songs: The Nearest Future, Tendency Right Foot Forward, Reunited Airlines, Amelia, You and Me and Leslie, Showrunner’s Blues, You-Know-What, Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar, Great Things, and many more!
Start with 1999′s Ponyoak if you would prefer a little more direction, and 2008′s Yes Boss is also particularly dense with good songs, and being offered for 99 cents(?!).
