Instant Album Review: Hypernova – Through the Chaos

Instant Album Review: Hypernova – Through the Chaos (July 14, 2010)
by: Eric Munoz

It’s seldom that I get a new album that I can’t wait to listen to nonstop. Hypernova’s Through the Chaos broke the cycle for me.  The album is filled with very catchy hooks and lyrics that paint a very vivid picture of the band’s journey that started in Iran and landed them in America.

Most of the lyrics deal with their view of the oppressive government in Iran and the effect that it had on the band and their peers. With this equation the band created a unique sound and message that everybody can relate to.

The songs on the album that stand out to me are With You and Viva La Resistance. Both songs are very representative of the rest of the album in style and form.
