After scouring through all of the music it takes to reach our final mix for the month, you start to feel that everything kind of sounds the same. This month it took the refreshing sound of some Prohibition-rock to wake us from our new music coma. Party like it’s 1929 with Blair Crimmins and The Hookers, one of the best live shows in Atlanta. The boys have been diligently plugging away across the South nearly every night of the week, and are worth your time and energy to seek them out. They have just released their first full album, and you can find out all the info you need at their surprisingly modern, yet still sepia-toned, website which contains all of their ditties, gigs, pulp, and swag.
