Chatham County Line Announces Holiday Shows
Chatham County Line will continue a tradition started six years ago with a small Holiday Tour. The tour consists of four dates, three in North Carolina, and a December 17, 2010 show at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta. Full dates below.
A preview of the 2010 performances were released and include: “A full acoustic set by the band, followed by a full electric set with Jay Brown (Tift Merritt, Stillhouse, Hotel Lights) on bass – the band’s upright bass player Greg Readling is being allowed to let loose on his Sho-Bud pedal steel – and Zeke Hutchins (Queen Sarah Saturday, Tift Merritt, Sara Watkins, Stillhouse) on drums. The rest of the band will shuffle from regular duties to add electric guitars, pedal steel, piano, and whatever else fits in the van. Johnny Irion (QSS, RIG, Guthrie Family Band) will be around to handle Emcee duties, sing a few songs, and add to the general ruckus.”
The band’s fifth album, Wildwood, was release in July 2010.
