The Denver Music Scene
by Jamie Charmichael
The Colorado music has had exponential recognition within the past few years for all types of music. Theaters, venues and record stores encourage all sounds and offer open booking and advertising plans throughout the state, yet most of the growth is in the diverse city of Denver.
Local Denver papers and radio stations always give local music a chance. Although Denver has yet to grow to the size of New York or LA, it has made strides to be where it is today. The music scene here is eclectic and welcoming to anyone who may seek out something new.
