The New York-based band Hollis Brown has released “Spoonful” from their album, Nothing & The Famous No One. The song, which features John McCauley of Deer Tick, can be heard in this post.

The band’s raw, electric garage rock album was recording in Nashville during the Summer of 2011 and was produced by Adam Landry (Deer Tick, Middle Brother). It is available on April 3, 2012.

The band will be playing a few dates on either side of SXSW. Complete dates below.
