Scout “So Close” Video; To Release First New Album Since 2003
Scout has released a video for “So Close” from the album, All Those Relays. The new album – the band’s first since 2003 – will be released on March 27, 2012. Listen to and watch “So Close” in this post.
Scout – “So Close” (Dragonfly Remix)
New York-based Scout is fronted by Ashen Keilyn. On the new album, drummer/producer Jim Eno (Spoon) recorded three songs; Hurricane Bells and Longwave frontman Steve Schiltz co-produced the rest of the album while recording with Keilyn in their Queens studio. The band is rounded out by Jason Molina and Shannon Ferguson of Longwave.
Scout released their debut EP in 1998. The band went on hiatus after the release of 2003′s The Soft Life.
