Dirt Road Mixtape V2.1

I never intended for this much time to lapse since the first DeadJournalist Dirt Road Mixtape, but it did. But just in time for Labor Day, here in the States, I have a new podcast up and ready to go. Here’s DeadJournalist’s Dirt Road Mixtape, V2.1.

This mixtape features songs classic Country songs from with late-1970′s to (for the most-part) mid-1980′s. It features 16 songs that aren’t a “Best of” but a collection of some of my favorite songs and artists from that time period.

I feel like this era of Country music tends to get overlooked, relative to the ten-year period that came before it. Hopefully this will expose you to some new, old music … or it will be a big-time blast from your past.

Also, all of these song came from my personal collection of CD’s. This mixtape is strictly for educational purposes, so if you like any of the songs or artists featured, please legally buy their music.

With that said, I hope you enjoy this mixtape and I would appreciate any feedback you have to offer.
