My Father and The Man In Black to Premiere in North America
My Father and The Man In Black, a documentary that looks at the life of Saul Holiff, Johnny Cash’s manager from in the 1960′s and early 1970′s, through the eyes Holiff’s estranged son, Jonathan, will premiere in North America in October.
The film chronicles both the life of Saul Holiff and his relationship with Cash taken from a series of personal audio recordings found by Jonathan Holiff after his father’s suicide in 2005.
The film is said to take an intimate look into the tumultuous period of Cash’s life, through the personal letters, recordings and documents kept by Saul Holiff.
The documentary will be showing at select film festivals this Fall, including on October 2, 2012, Vancouver and on October 7 in New York.
