Lissy Trullie

Lissy Trullie’s first single from her self-titled debut album is “Madeleine” which can be streamed in this post. The album, produced by John Hill and David Sitek will be released on April 10, 2012.

Trullie, who first garnered attention a decade ago as the face behind one of the images taken by Ryan McGinley for his groundbreaking 2002 Whitney Museum exhibit, The Kids Are Alright. Later, the Washington D.C. who moved to New York and studied at Parsons became the face for Chloe Sevigny’s fashion line. But it was with music where Trullie found her passion.

Her EP, Self-Taught Learner, was released in 2009 and provided her the opportunity to tour with acts such as the Cribs and TV on the Radio. Her latest album was recorded in Los Angeles and will be released by Downtown Records.
